ATTORNEY GENERAL KEITH ELLISON’S STATEMENT ON GOP ENDORSEMENT

MINNESOTA – This weekend, the Republican Party of Minnesota convened in Rochester to endorse a candidate for Attorney General of Minnesota from a pack of right-wing extremists. The following statement is from Attorney General Keith Ellison on the endorsement at the GOP convention:

“We can either elect an Attorney General that protects Minnesotans or one that attacks them. My opponents have pledged to defend insurrectionists who caused police officers to die, use the office to target trans youth, and criminalize people who have abortions. I pledge to keep fighting for a fair economy and protecting Minnesotans against violent crime, fraud, and economic abuse.”

Attorney General Ellison has been working hard as the people's lawyer to take on the most serious and violent criminal cases for prosecutors across the state, protect Minnesotans from fraud and abuse, and protect families’ pocketbooks from price gouging and corporate bad actors.
